The Kenai Community Foundation's primary purpose is to support the development and improvement of local museums, parks, and recreational facilities, as well as cultural activities including music, fine arts, library growth, education and historic activities by the following:
Promote and enhance library and education services.
Promote and enhance services for senior citizens.
Purchase, construct, maintain, improve and beautify areas within Kenai, Alaska for public parks and playgrounds.
Promote and enhance historic preservation of areas which have local, regional, state or national cultural or historical significance.
Purchase, construct, maintain and improve areas for historical cultural museums.
Purchase, construct, maintain and improve areas for musical and artistic enrichment of the community and its citizens.
Establish policies, plans and procedures for the implementation and administration of the aforementioned purposes.
